The second of four walls is now completed on BaanLoiNaam. It is now really starting to look like a house:

The nearer wall with the door in the middle is the way out of the house to the outdoor bathroom area. The roof overhangs this so it should be mostly sheltered. The dream idea is to make the exterior wall between bathroom and pond a “living wall” of growing bamboo that is watered using a passive wick dropped into the pond below. We might also consider putting up some canvas in the rainy season.

Wall #3 is quite minimal since this wall is basically all sliding doors:

There will be 3 sliding doors on 3 rails that will allow all 3 sliding doors to slide behind one static door on the right, allowing the whole space to open up if we wish. Ideally, I would like to run sliding mosquito screen doors around the edge of the balcony so that we can open up the interior space without worrying about mosquitoes coming in.
Every day I swing by to check up on the progress, the house looks more and more like somewhere I want to live. 🙂
