I was working on the land this evening, and noticed one of the resident dogs was just sitting in the water and watching me. She was there without moving for about 10-20 minutes. The dog on the left side of the picture above is sitting on the sand. But the one on the right is sitting in the water. The water was about 20cm deep there. I’m not sure why she was doing it.

My two theories are:

1. She was trying to cool off. (But this is around evening when the temperature was already cooling down.)
2. She was fishing. (We have seen more and more fish in the water, and they are just starting to get up to the size that one could make a meal of them. But then again, she was looking at me, not the water.)
