Today I noticed that some of the first crop of plants that K’Tanawat planted on our land are starting to yield their first crop. So I thought I would share some pictures.
The corn is looking really promising:
And these papaya plants sprouted on their own from some discarded fruit wastes and we transplanted them into a row:
Here is one that is already bearing (a lot of) fruit:
This is a papaya plant that is just starting to flower:
Some green beans poking out from being mixed up in the corn:
And a pumpkin patch between some more scattered corn:
Here is a pumpkin flower poking out:
And just today K’Tanawat got his hands on some grapes, so he just planted them. I’m not expecting much here. Grapes aren’t supposed to like “very warm or humid climates” which is basically a perfect description of the climate here. But… I’m willing to be surprised.
