We got 5 new chicks for the new chicken coop last week from Praew’s organic chicken farming class. Here they are settling in to there new home: The chain link fence keeps out dogs and other predators and the mosquito screen keeps out mosquitoes: Hopefully this new setup will work well for them.

It has been raining a lot this week which slowed down some of the outdoor work (like building the new stairs to conveniently descend into the pond). Nonetheless, we were able to finish one of the two stairs. Here are two pictures:
