Looking around at various options for building a sailboat, we decided on the PocketShip by CLC boats:

But at the good advice of their team, we are starting with a kayak to get the hang of the “stitch and glue” plywood and resin build process. We went with their Mill Creek 13 kayak:

Living in Thailand, it didn’t make sense to order the kit, so we ordered only the plans (for both the PocketShip and the Mill Creek) from them and we ordered the marine grade okoume plywood from China and the resin and hardener from Australia (enough for both boat build projects). Unfortunately, due to COVID-19 supply issues it took several months to receive the resin shipment.

But now that we have everything, we’ve cut all the parts and are beginning the Mill Creek 13 build.
