We have now fully completed our “metal trees” walkway. Here are two pictures:

The first one is at dusk and the second in full noon-time sunlight.

The polycarbonate roofing is a bit more green than I imagined it. I’m kinda hoping that it gets a bit dirtier in the next few months and comes out less “candy green” and more “dull brown green”. But nonetheless, I think it came out mostly as I imagined it. If the roof annoys me in 6 months, we can change it to match the polycarbonate roof of the parking lot. They are a more natural brown color.

You can compare how it turned out to the initial design here. In the next week or two, we’ll build the cement walkway itself and then see how we like it. Things are really moving along now.
