I just started a new robot project. The goal is to build a 3D printed robot that can mount an IP camera, has pan and tilt functionality, and a drive motor that drives the robot along a sling cable. It will probably be battery powered with an inductive charging connection. Ideally, I can control it from my mobile phone using IP Cam Viewer.
As a first usage, I’d like to set it up on the new land as a mobile security camera. Since the land is about 100m long, this provides a pretty good distance for a sling cable to be run.
